Just thought I'd put an update for anyone who cares...
My website was forced to be butchered last year because someone in Melbourne decided he was going to take on the Walt Disney company because apparently he had all copyrights to Victor Hugo's novel...
I have no idea of the copyright laws, but he seemed to think he had a case. He demanded that until the case was over, my site make no reference to the phrase "Hunchback of Notre Dame" or "Notre Dame de Paris," which, according to him, were HIS copyrights.
This is the latest e-mail I have received from him...
We have just had the first part of the case heard in the Australian Federal Court, about three weeks ago, and are now awaiting the Judge's decision.
So hopefully before too long the case will be closed and I can restore the site back to its former glory.
