I'm trying to write a fanfiction, but in order to do that, I need a detailed summary of the HoND sequel by Disney. I refuse to subject myself to this simply because of what I've heard about it and the terrible animation. Maybe some day I'll be able to stomach it, but for now....no. Anyway, can anyone give me a good, detailed summary of it to me? I'd appreciate it

You sure you need to use it? I've seen plenty of fanfictions written by people who base it solely off of the first. I accidentaly saw a small part when it happened to be on TV- it fairly destroys Hugo's novel. I don't mind the original, softening the ending is one thing; but making all this stuff happen after just annoys me, more than any other Disney sequel.

Yeah, the sequel was just... bad. ::shivers:: I don't remember much of it in detail, but basically Quasimodo ends up with this girl Madeline (I think that was her name...) and Esmeralda and Phoebus had a son named Zephyr, who is best friends with Quasi. And something to do with a Bell that you stand under and profess your love for whoever you love.
Madeline's like, being blackmailed or something into being this evil man's little henchman, and she has to get information on this bell to steal it. So she and Quasi meet one day up in the belltower, and she hasn't seen him up close, and she sees him and runs off. Quasi is naturally upset about it... and... umm... I don't really remember the rest, but it was really predictable. Quasi and Madeline get close, Quasi finds out she's working for the bad guy when really Madeline has changed her ways, he gets mad, blah blah, and in the end they profess their love for each other under the bell.
At least, I think that's how it happened... it's been a while since I've seen it. ^^;

I swear, the only reason Disney made that movie is that they realized that the hero didn't get the girl in the first one, and so to make the story even MORE kid friendly, they gave Quasi a girlfriend. Oh, how sickening...

What made me hate it was that for once Disney had done something out of the box, and they mae another one to push it back into the box!

I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid stupid Disney!!!!!!!!!!! So Hunchback was a little controversial. They made the second one to save their precious reputation, and lost even more respect from the people who liked the first one.

Well, if Jennifer Love Hewitt's doing a voice and a song in a movie, it's always wise to tread carefully...

I agree. Finally saw HoND II last weekend, and found myself fast-forwarding thorugh most of the film, even skipping over the songs. What a terrible movie! The only scenes I did enjoy were the ones with Phoebus and Achilles. My advise, write a fanfic that takes place directly after the first film.

Yep! The third one will be about the happy ending that Hugo and Djali have together. For the third movie, though, Disney decides to make Djali a girl, to avoid condemnation from Evangelical Christian activist groups.
The villain in this movie, you ask? Disney brings Gringoire into the picture (FINALLY!) as he and Hugo battle to the death for Djali's affections. In the end, though, Gringoire gives up, and he, Hugo, & Djali all become best friends.
Disney at its finest, folks...

Hahahahaha, sorry, guys. The idea of Djali finding love was just too messed up NOT to joke about. Indeed, if Disney ever even CONSIDERS making a third Hunchback movie, I will kill them all.

May I share my opinion in this topic about Disney sequel of HOND? Well, I've seen most of y'all really hate it, but I think it's quite cool. Why? Because the point of this movie sequel is for Quasi to get his girl even though the structure of movie is not as good as the first. However, I still think that it's kinda cute story for Quasi to get his true love although it's different from novel. But look, in Disney movie we shall see that he is really generous guy but doesn't get his loved one, why can't he get his own girl in the sequel? Because it's kinda impossible from the first (unlike the novel version), why can't it be like the sequel? That's what I wonder about it. And I hope Disney Picture won't make the third one for Hugo and Djali. It will be horrible, for sure. But this second one is OK for me. It shows more of generosity and kindness of Quasi when he acts to Madellaine. I want him to get someone and doing romantic things to his girl. Wow, how cute he is!!!!! It makes me love him more and more. And the song which's sung by Jennifer Love Hewitt is very beautiful and charming. Anyways, I would say that this movie and its sequel are really good, and I respect all of your opinions. I just saw it in different view from you. ^-^
